ResourceCo is in the business of resource recovery and provides environmental services as a beneficial by-product of its core business. For example, the recovery of resources from landfill waste materials conserves landfill space, reduces the potential for groundwater pollution and importantly, reduces greenhouse gas emissions. Every tonne of waste with common materials - such as wood and paper - is a greenhouse liability that continues to generate methane, a greenhouse gas, for over 50 years.
ResourceCo is committed to:
- Reducing the greenhouse gas liability of generated waste
- Increasing the recycling of materials with lower energy requirements than virgin resources
- Reducing the use of fossil fuels.
