Casey Council 'closing the loop' crushed concrete
Service Provided: Annual receipt of 8,000 of waste concrete and supply of 3,000 tonnes of recycled crushed concrete.
Project Summary: City of Casey, one of Australia's fastest growing municipalities is looking to reduce costs and improve sustainability through the recycling and re-use of their waste concrete. Through SITA-ResourceCo in Victoria trucks are able to seamlessly deliver waste concrete to the Hampton Park site and leave with recycled material for new jobs. The Council are testing the product for consideration in their standard specifications.
