ResourceCo Energy has been established to develop additional end user opportunities for the SITA-ResourceCo alternative fuel product which is manufactured as a replacement to traditional fossil fuels (gas and coal) in high temperature combustion kilns.
SITA-ResourceCo is Australia’s leading manufacturer of alternative fuels, producing alternative fuel from C&I and C&D residues under contract to Adelaide Brighton Limited as an environmentally beneficial fuel substitute in their cement manufacturing process at Birkenhead, South Australia. These actions not only conserve natural resources and reduce landfill but also reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
SITA-ResourceCo wish to expand its national footprint via the construction of additional alternative fuel plants in each Australian state and procure long term off take contracts with additional end users, the challenge is the limited number of cement kilns in Australia.
ResourceCo Energy is actively developing new end user opportunities given the consistent nature of the SITA-ResourceCo alternative fuel source having manufactured over 700,000 tonnes of fuel since inception.
The primary opportunities for additional end users are;
- Additional high temperature kiln applications such as brick and glass manufacturing; and
- Purpose built power generation plants using a renewable energy biomass based fuel source
ResourceCo Energy continues to develop commercial relationship with Australia’s leading industrial kiln operators for specific end user opportunities.
