Introduction
Resourceco started operations in 1991 as a contract
concrete crushing business. From its early days it quickly established
itself at the forefront of resource recovery both in South Australia
and nationally.
In 1992 the board of Resourceco recongnized the need
to set up a central facility that could service a wider range of customer
needs and process substantially more waste than the current practice.
After trading predominantly as a crushing business
for 5 years the company recognized the need to expand into commercial
and industrial waste recycling and in 1997 they commissioned the construction
of a purpose built processing facility.
The processing of waste into Alternative Fuels is
fast becoming core business for Resourceco. With our Joint Venture partner,
Adelaide Brighton Cement we have invested more than $20m in this area
of the business, our goal is to take this concept both interstate and
ultimately offshore.
